For 49 years and counting, when the kids of Sisters need something, Kiwanis has stepped up and showed up.
The budget got tight at the end of the new Sisters Elementary School project. That resulted in one swing set for the whole school. Not enough. So when they contacted Kiwanis and asked if we could do something, we found a way. With funding from The Roundhouse Foundation, our Kiwanis Club, and community donors, it is now being installed. In fact the second annual Luau is a fundraiser for this project. Please consider coming out August 22nd for an evening of great food and music at the Village Green. Tickets are available on our website. The poles are up, concrete inbound. A little cure time and more assembly and it will be ready for the coming school year.
