EVENT DATE: SATURDAY, JULY 25, 2026 AT 8 AM – 2 PM
The Hoodoo Challenge half marathon is back for its 10th year! The course follows scenic forested trails with amazing views from the top of Potato Hill. Runners will then walk back down the mountain for a hosted lunch and awards ceremony at the Hoodoo Lodge parking area.
We will also be hosting a 5K race that will begin at the Hoodoo parking lot and end at the top of Hoodoo. This trail also offers scenic views and is a great option for runners and walkers that just want to have an amazing time outdoors.

FAQs
Can I register the day of the race?
No. The preparation logistics do not allow for same day registration.
When is Packet Pickup?
Packet Pickup starts at 7AM on the day of the race, July 25th.
Can I overnight at the race site?
Yes! Hoodoo is allowing racers to spend the night in the parking lot before the race. There will be a porta potty available.
Can I bring my dog?
Yes as long as your dog is well behaved and stays on leash.
Is lunch included in the registration fee?
Yes, please join us for lunch following the race! There will be vegetarian options.
What about super cool race hats and shirts?
Absolutely! You can order Hoodoo Challenge gear when you register. A very limited supply will be available race day; but please order in advance so you don't get left out. Scroll down to see this year's gear.
How are the proceeds used?
Race proceeds are used to help local kids and families in need. Last year $7500 from the race went to help local families.
